I understand that unanticipated events occur in everyone's life. Unforeseen events such as car problems, traffic considerations, business meetings, and family emergencies, are just a few reasons why one might consider cancelling a massage appointment. In my commitment to provide a unique and outstanding massage experience to all my clients here are the following policies.

 Arrival to Your Massage

 Cancellation Policy

 No Show Policy

 Late Arrival Policy

 Hygiene

 Payment

 Scope of Practice

 Clients Rights

 Safety and Inappropriate Behavior

Arrival to Your Massage

Please arrive for your appointment 15 minutes prior to the scheduled starting time. This allows you the time to fill out the appropriate client form (new client), change and prepare for the service. All massages have a specific time schedule and early arrival allows for the relaxed and unhurried experience. If late arrival is inevitable , your service(s) may be shortened in order to keep on schedule. The original treatment time will be charged.

Cancellation Policy

Please provide at least 5 hours notice if you need to reschedule or cancel a treatment. This gives me enough time to fill the slot. If a client fails to call to cancel the appointment, the client will be charged for missed appointments.

No Show Policy

Clients who fail to show for appointment will pay the following, (except in cases of emergency). 1st offense $15, 2nd offense $30 and 3 or more will be charged for the time originally scheduled. The charge will be added to the next scheduled appointment or billed to address. If additional charges are added to the next appointment payment is expected before services are given.

Late Arrival Policy

Sol Massage regrets that late arrival will not receive extension of scheduled appointments. In special cases, and when my schedule will allow, I may be able to accommodate a partial or full appointment. This will be at my discretion and only with proper, advanced notification of your late arrival.

For health reasons--please arrive freshly showered after exercising. I reserve the right to refuse to perform a massage for any hygiene issues including failure to shower after exercising or excessive sweating. You will be responsible for full payment of your treatment time if you arrive not in the condition to receive massage.

Payment will be made at the end of the session. Types of payment accepted are: cash, check, credit card and PayPal. If check is to be received as payment, ID must be present. No out of state checks please. There will be a $2 charge for use of credit card. There will be a $3 charge if invoice is requested. Tips may be given at your discretion -- They are never expected and always appreciated. No IOU's will be accepted. Special arrangements can be made if payment can't be made immediately. if client refuses to pay for service(s) given immediate legal action will be taken (I will call the cops!)

Scope of Practice

I will only provide services for which I am qualified. If I am unable to provide the support you need, I will refer you to the appropriate professionals.

Clients Rights

You are encouraged to contribute the direction of your session. Please don't be afraid to speak up about areas you'd like to have more or less attention, or anything that would help you be more comfortable. Your input will always be accepted and appreciated. If at any time during the session you wish to stop i will respect your request, you are expected to pay for the time you received.

Safety and Inappropriate Behavior

The safety and comfort of both therapist and client are very important. Either can terminate the session at any time if uncomfortable for any reason.

Intoxicant Policy: Alcohol and drugs can significantly reduce the benefits of massage, and may even cause harm. Therefore, if you come to a session under the influence, I may refuse to offer my services and you be charged for the session.

Sexual Misconduct: The massage I practice is therapeutic and is strictly non-sexual/sensual. Inappropriate verbal or non-verbal sexual behavior will result in termination of the session, and full payment be due.
